Who I am:

I am a recent graduate from the University of Connecticut, where I earned a BFA in Studio Art with a minor in Digital Arts. I also studied Graphic Design & Interaction at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design during a term abroad in London. My artistic interests include photography, moving imagery, book arts and design, and my work has most recently been featured at the John Slade Ely House in New Haven, CT and at the Annual UConn BFA Exhibition in Windham, CT. In September, I will begin work as a fellow for the Fifth Year Fellowship Program at Trinity College in Hartford, CT.

What I've been doing:

During my recent time at UConn, I was involved in developing creative and experimental initiatives in the School of Fines Arts, including the Studio Arts Initiative for Leadership and the Collaborative Arts Lab. Since moving to Storrs in 2011, I began working at the student-run campus television station in roles ranging from creative to managerial, and was selected to be the Productions Manager for my senior year. This was a challenging role that allowed me to work with many people in many different functions within a content-producing organization. I continue to work as a freelance equine photographer, and have been published in regional & national horse magazines and publications, most recently in the August 2015 issue of Equine Journal.

What I love:

I am obsessed with details, texture, pictures of light, baby animals, and peach Snapple. I have been riding horses and competing for most of my life, and my interest in horses often shows up in my personal work. Writing is something that I've always enjoyed and am looking to develop more seriously, and I often moonlight as a copyeditor to my friends and family. I love hands-on work, and I find a great deal of satisfaction in completing something new and challenging for the first time.
